1. What controls your warranty

The exact warranty period and covered items are stated on the accepted quotation, invoice, warranty card or handover document. This page explains the general process and does not create a longer warranty than the written project documents.

Keep your invoice, serial numbers and manufacturer warranty documents. They may be required for service or replacement.

2. Equipment manufacturer warranty

Cameras, recorders, hard drives, monitors, access-control devices, fire panels, gate motors, GPS units, solar panels, inverters and batteries are normally covered by their respective manufacturer or authorized supplier terms.

  • Approval, repair, replacement timing and replacement model are controlled by the manufacturer or supplier.
  • Warranty may be repair-only, replacement-only or subject to depreciation, testing, transport or service-centre conditions.
  • Nexura can assist with a valid claim when the equipment was supplied by us, but cannot extend or override a third party's written warranty.

3. Installation workmanship

Where a workmanship warranty is included, Nexura will inspect faults reasonably linked to our installation—such as a loose termination, incorrect configuration or installation defect—during the period stated in the written quotation or invoice.

Workmanship coverage applies to the original agreed scope and does not cover new equipment, consumables, customer changes or faults unrelated to the installation.

4. What is not covered

  • Physical damage, misuse, tampering, theft, pests, water ingress, fire, lightning, surge, unstable voltage or other external events.
  • Faulty customer wiring, internet, router, SIM, mobile device, grid supply, generator or third-party integration.
  • Normal wear, batteries or other consumables unless the written manufacturer warranty expressly covers them.
  • Data, recordings, cloud accounts, passwords or storage loss.
  • Reduced solar output caused by shade, dust, weather, grid outage, utility curtailment or changed site conditions.
  • Repairs, relocation, opening, rewiring or configuration by an unauthorized third party.
  • Failure to follow operating, maintenance or environmental requirements.

5. How to make a claim

Contact Nexura promptly with your name, invoice or quotation reference, installation address, equipment model or serial number, fault description and clear photos or video where safe. Do not dismantle equipment before receiving instructions.

Remote checks may be completed first. If a visit is needed, diagnostic, travel, access-equipment or out-of-warranty charges will be explained before work begins.

6. Inspection and remedy

Nexura or the authorized service provider must inspect and confirm the fault. Depending on the applicable warranty, the remedy may be adjustment, reconfiguration, repair, part replacement, equivalent-model replacement or referral to the manufacturer. A replacement item may continue only the remaining original warranty unless the supplier confirms otherwise.

Removal and reinstallation costs are covered only when stated in the applicable written warranty.

7. Transfer, relocation and policy changes

Warranty is issued to the original customer and installation site unless Nexura confirms a transfer in writing. Relocating or materially changing the system may require inspection and can affect coverage.

This policy may be updated prospectively. A valid claim remains governed by the written terms issued with the original order.
