Net Metering & Net BillingSupport in Lahore
Readiness checks and documentation support for export metering with your electricity utility.
Readiness checks and documentation support for export metering with your electricity utility.
In February 2026 Pakistan's regulator NEPRA notified the Prosumer Regulations 2026, which replaced the earlier net metering framework with a net billing model. Reports at the time put the buyback rate near Rs 11 per unit, and said existing agreements would continue until expiry. Rules and rates may change again, so please confirm the current position with your utility (LESCO in most of Lahore) and NEPRA before deciding.
Nexura helps you prepare: we check your system and meter readiness, assemble the documentation your utility asks for and explain how export is billed under the current rules, so you can judge the payback honestly.
Whether export is worth it depends on how much of your solar output you use yourself — which is why design and sizing come first.
